5 Minutes for Mom and the Mother's Day Giveaway 2009

Good Morning Everyone! The kids are off to school, and I am finally taking the time to sit down and work on my blog. There is so much going on here! Aside from getting ready to move the house out to the farm, I have a High School Reunion coming up! Ugghh, 30 yrs! This is the first high school reunion I am able to attend. When I think about it, I think I should have found a way to go to the 10 yr reunion instead. You know, when I still looked thin and cute...lol. Now I am old, plump, and have eight grandchildren (and one more on the way).

Then I think, it's probably better that I am going to the 30 yr instead. Everyone has changed, everyone is older. We should all be pretty much settled now, and on with our lives. High school was so long ago, and all the old habits, cliques and stereotypes are so long gone. Now we are at a point in our lives when we just want to reconnect, and share some memories, as well as what is new. And yet, I find myself working really hard to lose at least a few pounds before I go. I am really looking forward to this, and will let you know how it all turns out!
